I just purchased this bike. I'm so excited about the ride I get. I go up hills without pain. This bike requires you to pedal to activate the electric motor. I can now stay up with the rest of the cyclists. They like to draft behind me. I can maintain 19 miles per hour. It wonderful.

Awesome, @Dani ! Congrats on your new ebike. Like a whole new world, isn't it :). Would enjoy seeing some pics of your new BMW bike and hear a little about where you ride.

I tried to add a picture but it did not work. I will try again.

@Dani, upload images that come from your computer, not from another site. Also, use Paint or some other image editor to size your pics. Images that are too large won't load. I usually set the width or height about 400-600 pixels and the Paint program will make the other dimension match. The picture might look small in your editor; however, when it loads on our pages it will be a good size. Hope this helps :)

Today I completed a ride of 30 miles. The terrain had some hills. Average speed 15.6 max 33 on down hill. I found the shift was so smooth and the assistance was just off the charts. When I was going over 20 miles per hour that was just me. I have come to realize what an amazing bike I have. BMW put the same quality in this bike they do in their vehicles.

Fantastic bike! I'm hoping to be able to come across one of these Cruise bikes to test drive some day. My understanding is that there were some BMW dealers in Canada and Europe that carried them, but I haven't found any US dealers with one in stock. Which country did you buy your Cruise in?
