My daughter was involved in getting a pump track at our local park - part of a year 9 student leadership project. I can't believe that was 3 years ago!!!
Anyway, we realized the long travel dual suspension mtb's were HARD work on them, and the emtb was even harder. So I built up a dedicated bike -26" wheels, marin alcatrazframe, etc. It's half way between a bmx and a mtb and an absolute blast. It looks ridiculous having this middle aged fat guy aboard....but it's a great work out and has vastly improved my flow on the real mountain bikes.
Great fun!
