Belts, frame break and bolts.

Most of the belt driven ebikes I’ve seen lately have a break in the frame to allow replacement of the belt. I’m still riding an ebike I bought 11 years ago and I’ve had issues with frame bolts the won’t loosen. Is stuck frame break bolts a concern for those buying a bike with a belt and a frame break? Ed

If I were concerned about a particular bolt becoming "difficult" over the long term, I would remove it and install anti sieze compound on it while it's still in good shape. Then make it part of your annual maintenance program.

I’d assume the bolts have Loctite on them. No one wants a frame bolt coming loose from vibration.

No loctite on the bolts on my bike.
