be very afraid!

I work in a industry manufacturing mostly 2-stroke power tools. I work in Environmental Engineering, making sure our products comply with strict emissions standards. We heard about Trump now dropping the emission mandates but we, as a company, will not go backwards in manufacturing standards just because someone says we now can. That would be counter-productive to our customers and the environment we pledge to protect. Also, is Trump going to "DOGE" the California CARB board? They (CARB) seems to have their own super powers due to sheer size. I have a feeling lawsuits will soon follow, just like the lack of promised government funding he axed.
Thank you all,its going to be interesting, btw has anybody noticed the "Union" is set to grow by one,two or maybe 3 provinces, man this sure is some interesting times, just wait till tariff free Alberta tar sand oil starts getting a bigger toe hold,( uh if BC joins the Union I might head there)

Yes, I remember driving past Gary, Indiana in the early 60's. I also remember Love Canal,

I started working in a lab in 1970. They drained right into the sewer system and eventually into the Chicago river. All kinds of acids and bases , plus carcinogens went down the pipes, We vented similar gases up to the rooftop stacks. It was crazy for a while, but by 1980, we cleaned that mischief up.

Environmental Pollution Agency will be the new name.
