I have bought a BBS01 and 850C display. I have cycled 500 kilometers, but now I have a problem. Display turns on and I can change level of assist on the control, but no walk, trottle or pedals assist ls responding. When turned on, the display shows 20 watt when engaging walk assist, but no response in the motor.
What may be the problem?

A guess would be a defective display. Do you have access to another display to try? Do you have a programming cable?
But first ... I would double check all connections.
Disconnect brake and shift sensor and try without as a test.
 
Brake light switch hanging on you? Maybe unplug both the brake light switches for another try...
 
Problem fixed, although I don't know exactly what the solution was...🙄. I disconected trottle and gear sensor, restarted and connected them again and then it worked. Some kind of hangups perhaps..? Thanks for the advice, though:)

Keep an eye on the gear sensor... They're known to be problematic.

A work around if you want to disconnect it permanently is if you pause pedaling for a brief second and set your Start Degree to 5, you'll have enough chain travel under no motor torque as it pauses the motor for 1/4 of 1 chainring full revolution on the initial start
 
On that shift sensor, I learned a really long time ago about the need to back off on my pedaling when shifting, so when going to an e-bike that just sort of transferred over to those. Anyway, I have a shift sensor that seems to work fine. In use though, it's kind of like having a backup as I'm already backing off to shift....

Maybe a dirty connection that you cleared by unplugging and plugging back in?
 
I was wrong.. again. It seems to still be some disconnection after all, but it comes and goes. One minute its fine, and the next no respond in the motor. I suspect it can be a cable breake perhaps in the pedal assist contoller, even though the display is all fine. I have disconected gear shift sensor, but no luck. I have unplugged and plugged all connections. The next thing is to buy new controller, trottle and brakes I guess😖

I'm not sure I would go that route just yet. These can be hard to troubleshoot because they need to be fully connected to work but I would guess that you have a wiring issue first.
Do you ride in wet conditions?
Have you plugged /unplugged the wiring often?
Have you looked at the pins in the higo connectors for bent or discoloration? You can clean them with a contact cleaner
I would manipulate each wire connector individually and test during to see if you possibly have an intermittent bad internal connection
I think I would replace the 1T4 main cable before the controller.
You can also open up the controller to check for loose connection there as well
Post some pics of the bike so we can understand the installation a little better.
 
This is so usefull to me. I have been riding in wet condition, to and from work in all kind of weather without any problem. So when this thing happened it was the first time that I have unplugged the connections. I have done it once more and inspected the pins and used contact cleaner. Now it seems to be working as it should and I have done a test ride. I have learned that I have to bee extra cearfully when get the pluggs together. That seems to be the problem.

I'm glad you were able to get it rolling again.

One thing you may want to do is apply a small amount of silicone grease (aka dielectric grease) on the plastic male portion of each connector being careful not to apply any to the copper connection point. This will create a better barrier to keep moisture out. I would do this on the plastic around the Discharge Port of the battery (all 4 sides) as well as this is also a known failure point due to moisture and vibration.
