Battery

I hear 800 kicked around frequently. The thing is though, I doubt seriously the science used to determine that number is anything but a best guess.

Speaking of my own, after a lot of use over the last 3 years, mine is still doing great. They are not junk batteries. That I think, is a safe bet.
 
700, 800 or whatever else number is given out are guesses at best and those are given for a certain amount of loss capacity.

You could often read that after 700 cycles, you would lose 20% capacity. Could be true or not but if you daily need is way less than the 80% remaining, it will hardly affect you.
