Battery compartment "spacer" when battery is removed?

I dislike that when battery is removed, battery door does not shut.
I oftentimes remove the battery so loading the bike onto/into vehicle, it weighs less.

Saw a "spacer" from a shop in Europe but cannot find then again. It was approx size of a sandwich and it was 3D
printed to mimic the top of the battery. You slid it into the upper battery area which allowed battery door to shut/lock.

I want one---hate that you can't shut the battery door if no battery!
Thanks

Someone on this forum 3D printed his own battery dummy. See link below. I'd love to get one myself. I dislike that the door stays open. That's just asking for a broken door or worse.

Thanks,
I'd love to get the 3D printer blueprint for a battery spacer.
I hate that the door stays open w/o the battery, wtf were they thinking? :)

I purchased my dummy over here: https://www.vanzijptechniek.nl/product/batterij-dummy-stromer/
Works very well
Don't know if he ships to the US
They do ship to the U.S. I ordered a pair of fender extenders and two little spacers to hold the pannier rack as high as possible. Everything works as advertised. Shipping was not expensive and the pieces have good fit and finish. Their stuff isn’t cheap, but it’s the only place I’ve found who make and sell sell those kinds of Stromer-specific parts.

I found at Home Depot a small velcro strap with a plastic buckle (18inches). I use it all the time and it's the perfect size

Bosch sells dummy batteries to bike shops, for use on display bikes when the battery is removed. Anyone with a Bosch-equipped bike can probably sweet talk a local bike shop into order one for them. :)
