Battery charging

OK I rode the bike twice since I last posted.
Charged back up to 100%, typically used 60-70% each time.
My App now says 11 charge cycles.
I checked it after the first charge and it registered 10.
Again just my experience with this bike, others may vary but a tech at Spec. confirmed that what I stated is correct on the recording of the charge cycle amount.

Well I have just charged back to 100% from 80% and it didn't register a charge on my Mk1 Creo and a friend on a full power Levo has done the same and it didn't register a charge, like you say just our experiences.

Possibly we are both correct.
Maybe there is a "minimum" % threashold amount needed to flip the # on the cycle section in the App.
I usually run mine down from 100% to 20-40% and then charge back up to 100%.
I did ask the Specialized guy (via e-mail) about my scenario as far as states of charge are concerned.

On a Bosch system a charge cycle is a 100% charge: IE, 100%, 20%+80%, 60%+40%, 50%+50%, doesn't matter all considered one charge cycle. I guess I thought all manufactures figured it this way, guess that I was wrong.

I did 13 miles, and it registered as a cycle. Nevertheless, the "charge before ride" makes sense to me - if required. There is no need to charge to 100% when you have 50% left and will do a shorter ride. It is not just about cycles but also about going overboard when not required?
