Banfang BBS mid drive Breezer Uptown 8 conversion

I converted Breezer uptown 8 to have Banfang Mid drive system. Works well except the assist seems to turn off at higher pedal speeds, not just when bike speed exceeds preset limit which I set at 20 mph. Example in fourth gear assist stops at 13.6 mph. pedal slower assistance comes back on. In fifth gear goes around 14.6 mph and then assist stops. Maybe exceeding motor speed at higher pedal speeds. Any ideas.

In my experience, when you drive the motor (via peddling) beyond it's max RPM the sound the motor makes changes and is distinct from the sound it makes during normal operation.

I will look for tha. I don not hear any noises the assist just stops. I doubt i am pedaling too fast. Is there any setting for pedal cadance

Not that I'm aware of.

The assist does stop at specific MPH based on your max speed limit and PAS level.
