I've only owned my Aventure for just over a week and enjoying it thus far. Was curious to know if people travel with their Aventure, what vehicle rack are you using that fits the Aventure? Also, has anyone purchased a bike repair stand that is suitable for the Aventure?

My husband just purchased the aventure last week. Now how do we transport! We had the ramp Tule rack for our. E bikes but the fat tire doesn’t fit 😢. So really looking forward to hearing about recommendations. We are both
Older so lifting a 60#bike is something I am not looking forward to.

We have two Aventon Pace 500’s. we use a Saris hitch mounted rack. You might check on their website to see what they have for the Aventure. I’m not sure. I will say we had a great experience with their customer service. Also made in USA.
Wisconsin as I recall. when we travel with the eBikes we remove the batteries and keep them in the car. that makes the bikes a little lighter. I also wrap plastic around the battery compartment in case of rain. Wish Aventon made a cover for the battery compartment!
Hope this helps a bit. Hitch mounted racks aren’t cheap!
happy ebike riding.

PS

we are in our 70’s. Also as I recall Saris made some larger wheel cups for fat tire bikes. Check them out. We had a good experience with them.

We have a Hollywood Sportrider HR1500-RAD. Carries my wife's Charge Comfort and my Aventure. Very secure.

+2 on the Hollywood Sport Rider HR1500. I purchased the Thule Easy Fold XT. My beach cruiser style ebikes are large and heavy and the wheelbase of the bikes were too long for the Thule rack. Lost $ selling it. Purchased the Hollywood rack and it works perfect. Holds two large 80lb. ebikes perfect.

Have the Kuat NV 2.0 and worked great. They make a ramp that snaps on the side to make it easier to mount. It comes with one fat tire mount, but if you have two bikes you can buy a second. They are working on another, the Piston Pro X but it won't be out for a few months.

The fultyme RV 1300 is back in stock at Walmart. For a $120 seems like a good deal. Mine just came in yesterday, got it assembled and it seems pretty good. Welds look good and fair into base metal and overall gage of tubing and steel seems plenty to hold 200 pounds as advertised. Seems well built with the only minor complaint being the plastic inserts installed into the sliding components have a little play in them when hand tightened on the tubes. I have some shim tape so may shim them slightly for a better overall fit up to the tubing. I only have the one ebike for the moment for the wife is still on the fence if she wants to ride or not. I’m prepared either way. Can’t see spending $500-$600 for an occasional use item. Those high dollar racks are very nice for sure and if I had an RV and was hauling across country would splurge for one of those for sure. For what I need this rack should work fine.

For those interested how the 1UP wheel-clamp style rack fits the Aventure fenders, here's my rack setup with our Aventure and Pace 500 on my Subaru Ascent. There's no issues with fender clearance when you adjust the ratchet bar down as pictured, and the bike is still firmly held in place. This rack is built like a tank. I took the load for a test down a very rough, washed-out, and pot-holed road and there was zero rattle or bounce. Loading is a breeze with ramp add-on attachment. Those interested in my setup, here are the rack details - 1UP Super Duty Double Rack, Fat Tire Spacer kit x2, Rakattach (Swing arm) sz med., and 1UP Loading Ramp (pictured attached for travel). Attached to factory Subaru 2" receiver.

Wow, that's an awesome setup. I'm thinking about getting exact same thing. My guess is the whole setup is in the $1000-$1200 range.

Thanks! Yeah, in the $1100-$1200 range plus tax, depending on how many fat tire spacers you need and if you decide to get a ramp. I got lucky and they had the right size/swing direction RakAttach I needed in stock in their bargain garage listings and saved about $100 off MSRP.
