Try to find a video or at least a description of how to dissemble and grease the rear hub on my Aventure2. Anybody have a link to such information?
Thanks
I've owned several rear hub Aventon ebikes. One had over 8,000 miles before I sold it. None ever needed rear hub lubrication. I have done rear hub lubrication on a Ride1Up with many miles. It was making more noise than I cared for. It was simple to remove the 6 screws and open the hub to the gears and add appropriate gear grease. There are youtube videos for this project. Maybe not specifically for the Aventure but all rear hubs are basically the same. 3 small nylon gears and the one big rotor gear.
Thanks for the reply. My gears are getting noisy, the hub motor on the Aventure looks different than a most hub motors, the wires to motor enter from the opposite side than where the screws are located. Not sure how the wire needs to be arranged in order to separate the motor from the hub, I worried I may damage something if done incorrectly.
