Articulating suspension seat post question.

The bike I have comming? The seat post is 30.4 dia. What do I do? But a smaller dia. post + shim?

I think I am in the same boat. I have a ESPIN Sport on order with 30.4 seat post diameter. I ordered a 30.4 Suntour. I am hoping it fits...

I would suggest you buy a 27.2 dia seatpost and shim it to fit the 30.4 dia seat tube
This way you can use it on any other bike, shimmed to fit different seat tube dia’s

Got me. I meant a sest post other than one that goes up and down. I don't know to explain the Suntour kind of suspension. Back and forth?

Don't think so. Maybe a little tiny racing bike seat might give you the look you desire.

They all go up and down too. I suggest they are called linkage suspension, to which there are coil spring and elastomer versions. https://www.electricbike.com/suspension-seat-posts/

I understand what your are saying. My Suntour seems to move more horizontally in action...
