I think this would be a no-brainer.
For an amount of money that would be absolute noise in the context of the federal budget you could make a huge impact both on our overall carbon footprint and on the lives and well-being of literally hundreds of thousands of people.
I also like the idea of increasing the size of the constituency agitating for better bicycle infra in our cities.
