I was speaking with friend who is a researcher with a PhD in material sciences who works at Argonne National Lab.
The news headlines seem to announce the next big breakthrough is near but the reality is there are many hurdles in getting it to work in the real world.
In the meantime the current Li-Ion tech is still pretty amazing.
I believe electric IS the future of transportation. And being able to store cheaply is key. So I remain hopeful.
