Do you have to replace the crank and associated rear gear as well? How expensive do you think this is going to cost?

15,000 km until total failure of the belt drive. Note: no warning whatsoever.

• If I had to replace my 2019 Homage (theft, etc.), I'd unhesitatingly choose the 2021 Homage with Rohloff and Gates Carbon Drive.
• If I felt compelled to add another R&M to my ebike collection (why not?), I'd choose the 2021 Homage with derailleur/chain option.

If you could choose non-E14 (manual shift) Rohloff with Gates would that be even a better choice for you?
