7 to 10 years ago, owning and riding an ebike here in the US, might have gotten you labeled an electric vehicle "nerd."
Thankfully ebikes are now much more 'mainstream', though there is still a WHOLE LOTTA people who don't know they exist, or really what they are, if they haven't ridden one.
Websites like EBR certainly have helped changed the ebike awareness landscape and public knowledge. Still a long ways to go, but grateful EBR.com and Electric Bike Report.com do exist.
