At minute 8:15 the gal-theif uses her phone to scan the Airtag and mentions she has the ability to disable it. This feature has me concerned….
Still waiting for wife to say yes. Engraving is 4 characters (??) max. Best to use a single emoji…(IDK!)

That’s why I bought the Belkin AT key ring holders. Even those were $12 apiece! Don’t get the white ones tho as they get dirty real fast!WOW, mine came and I'm impressed!
The only disappointments are the key fobs being priced higher than the AirTag!
How much WEED can fit in there?Found a compartment under the bottom bracket of my Salsa, non electric. It is for routing wires and hiding weed. Perfect for an AirTag with the speaker removed.

Slightly easier install perhaps, but the reflector is no obstacle for the above average tweaker. Popping open the stem is a piece of cake. Just four bolts. From my perspective, there is no difference in difficulty. They are both elementary.this is a easier way
they are not going to think a reflector is anything. its easy to change the battery too having to take the bars off to get to it is a pain. ya its hidden but it is also hidden to you.Slightly easier install perhaps, but the reflector is no obstacle for the above average tweaker. I have one of those tail lights on order. I won’t be using it. Same philosophy as LoJack, if the thief can find the alarm they will disable it. If you’re not mechanically minded, then the reflector is great. (But really, the stem could not be simpler.)
Any AirTag is better than no AirTag. Have you installed the reflector holder?
When the AirTag notifies the thief that he is being followed, he will be able to find the AirTag immediately with an iPhone or Android or his ears. Prying off the reflector is easy. Removing an AirTag hidden inside the stem while on the side of a road is another thing. They will either leave my bike to find easier prey, or I will find them first.they are not going to think a reflector is anything. its easy to change the battery too having to take the bars off to get to it is a pain. ya its hidden but it is also hidden to you.
Just four bolts.
There are two possible notifications. The "AirTag Found Moving With You" message is separate from the AirTag beeping notification. Remove the speaker to disable the beeping. If you don't, then you'll find your reflector on the side of the road, beeping.
Or worse yet, stuck to the bumper of a UPS delivery van.
