Anyone tried RF v16 as GPS tracking unit?

Hi,
I am new to this forum and just got my bh Emotion evo 27.5. I saw that a GPS tracking unit found off eBay, RF v16, for 20 dollars seemingly is identical to the one that fits in the batterycage for the evo 27.5 sold as an accessory for 220 dollars. Anyone tested this unit? Further, anyone know where to get ahold of the proper cable to power such GPS unit off the bike battery without buying the complete set for 220 dollars?

I got this unit off Ebay and it fits perfectly in the designated place for the GPS tracking unit underneath the battery in the EVO 27.5. I have to charge it about 1-2t/week though. I should fit all units all models compatible with the BH Emotion GPS Tracking unit.
