I read about this on another post which piqued my curiosity. Has anyone actually tried running moped tires on the RadMini? It's my understanding that the 16" rim size will fit. Here are some Shinko SR714's on amazon, I believe 3.5" wide:

But wow, are they heavy! Would probably give much better flat protection but I wonder if that added weight would really slow acceleration, or harm braking for that matter?
Would be great to hear first hand from someone who might have actually tried this.
