anyone oder from here? www.conhismotor.com

Thanks. But Why the other bike? quality?

There are too many design flaws and the only way someone can offer 48V, 20Ah battery at that price if they purchase C-class cells. A-class or A-grade cells are good, can be warranted for 3 years and expensive. Also, the 8fun motor is far superior compared to the cheap hub motor used in the other design.

if you have done good research, go ahead or else think about the mid-drive instead of that huge hub motor.

Add $500 to those prices for shipping from China.

That mid drive is nice, but you can put it together yourself and have a better bike for less money.

Breezer or Specialized Mountain bike (need mechanical disc brakes as the mid drive motor kit does not work with a hydraulic set up).

http://www.americasbikecompany.com Breezer Storm 29er $519
http://www.specialized.com Specialized Hardrock MSRP $520
http://www.ebay.com 750watt mid drive kit with 48volt 11AH battery $1,150
http://www.ebay.com Nuvinci CVT $249

Something really special for under $2,000

BTW hold off on the Bafang mid drive for a while as a new version is coming out soon with a stronger controller.

I've been following Lectric Cycle, who I think is a Phoenix AZ retailer for Bafang kits... Told me a retail shop in Miami was coming soon... If and when they do I'm a customer.. Not interested in dealing with whoever from China.. Experience (5 years 3 ebikes) tells me stick with someone local or from USA if you're in USA.

$500 premium over ebay though by the time you add in sales tax, and ebay refunds your money if you don't get what you order.

$795 battery + $795 motor + 6% sales tax = $1,685.40

Exact same items on ebay = $1,149

So it's more than $500

Where you can buy a 48v13ah AllCell battery with 2 year warranty and a 750w Bafang kit complete with warranty for $1150?

They also have programming and are only a phone call away.

IF it's not an AllCell battery it's not the same.

Lifetime warranty. 100% feedback on 578 ebay transactions.

Obviously buying locally with phone support is preferable, but not everybody has an extra $500 to spend on that peace of mind.

BTW batteries in both places are 11.6ah.

well then go for it.. Speaking from experience, you get what you pay for in ebikes... Dealing with China is a hit and miss affair. esp with shipping. and support.
