Already did the battery and b/c in the beginning I didn’t do it the proper way, will have to order another roll to do the ebike tubes/ fork and seat stays. Once you know how to do it , it’s very easy and the results are nice.

A few minor bubbles here and there but next time Zero bubbles.
This is the 605 WH bat.

Yes, 2 years ago, I did the entire bike except the fenders, handlebar and motor.
I had to buy matte finish and glossy. Turned out well. Still looking clean.
I used Xpel for the matte and 3M for the glossy.
Runs into a few bucks but worth it.
A labor of love.

Did you do it with the film or with the spray ?
I used the film for the top tube and battery .
The smaller tubes can only be done with much smaller narrower film that I haven’t bought yet.

Still, the looks are sparkling and scratch free.

Strictly film. Didn't know of a spray. Wouldn't be as equal in protection I'd imagine.
After which I'd treat it like a car finish by using a sealant or wax. Instead of wax on the matte finished areas, I'd use 303 Aerospace Protectant (great product) to keep the matte appearance.

Fun stuff.

The spray it says that it is as good as the film but it needs 3-4coats and is very toxic, need lots of ventilation area, gotta wear mask and so on...plus need to do prep. work taping area on the bike not. Needing the spray...
