Any extra wear of just using throttle

Would there be any extra wear to the motor if just using throttle only? Or just decreased battery range. If these are brushless motors like my rc motors are they last years

Lectric Bikes use a 500 watt brushless rear hub motor. Unless abused, the throttle should cause no more motor wear than the PAS system.
