Any custom battery builders in LA area?

Looking to build a custom battery for my coverted Sikk SS cruiser. I need to either replace the old battery (getting bad) which sat in front of the rear wheel, or I'd like to design a custom enclosure that's sits in the curved triangle of the frame.

Anyone know of anyone in the Los Angeles / San Fernando Valley area of Cali?

That's actually a good location for your battery , gives low C.G.
If you can't get the person who made that one to make another, you could get a shark style, mount it in the center gap and cover it with some material paint to match or whatever.

Yeah, it is a good location. It was a shark type battery but they had to hack the case to squeeze it in front of the wheel. It's a pain to take the wheel off without deflating the tire since I have an internally geared hub so the chain tension is fixed.

I was also considering have a rectangular box made to fit a rectangular battery and remount in the same location. I've seen some 20ah batteries that are a little wider, but thinner than this and will give me a little better clearance from the rear tire.

Problem is, I'd have to buy the battery (they ain't cheap) and then hope I get get everything to fit.

Smart move would probably be to just rebuild the existing battery exactly as it is and not screw with what works already.
