Alaskan Has Died

Very sad news, may you rest in peace Alaskan. Although I am a new member i have been visiting this site and reading posts for a couple of years. As a lifelong Alaskan myself I was drawn to Alaskan’s posts and comments originally because of his site name, but the more I read the more I realized the depth of knowledge and insight he possessed on the subject of e-bikes. I will forever be grateful for his shared experiences as I began my search for an e-bike.
I raise a toast to Alaskan, a friend that I never met.

Stefan, thank you for posting this. Respect. Nothing but respect for Richard in how he carried himself on our little forum here. Respect for the life he built for his family. Respect for his demeanor on this forum, quick to lend a hand to anyone asking for help. Respect for how he lived his life, first with a heart attack out at sea on his boat and especially how he fought his battle against that scourge, Cancer. He is the friend, as so, so many of you here, that I never got to meet. Rest easy, friend. We'll take the ebike watch from here. God bless you and your family. And thank you.

I found the perfect place for him to rest this is a big time biking route through a nice cemetery.
