Just bought one for my wife. It comes stripped. Any recommendations on compression seat post, back rack, back view mirror?

The bike store allowed you to leave with a bare bike?! How do they expect to stay in business by selling you only the low-margin bike and not the higher margin accessories? 
I know there is a lot of talk about suspension seatposts, but let her ride the bike first; otherwise, you may be spending money unnecessarily. Trek makes racks under their Bontrager label, but there are many brands compatible and comparable. Topeak racks are nice in that they have their MTX QuickTrack which allows easy and secure mounting of bags, baskets, or child carriers. The Mirrycle is the best mirror.
