Accelerator for EV Global 24 volt bike

I have a 24 volt EV Global bike with a broken thumb trigger accelerator. Does anyone know where I can purchase a used one or an aftermarket replacement? Thanks for your help and ride like the wind, as you save our air.

But I’m not sure, exactly, you’d wire it up.

Here is the wiring diagram for the throttle, from the service manual.

Is there anything left of the thumb “paddle”? Maybe you can glue something to it, or fit something over it, to extend it?
