700 vs Limited

Trying to to decide if the Limited would be a better choice for me than the 700 due to my weight at more than 250 pounds. Seen a thread several months old but the 700 has changed controllers lately and the Limited is now cadence sensing.

The torque values listed show the Limited to have 40 more nm of torque than the 700.

Does that translate to the real world? Is the Limited faster? Given my weight, is it the best choice for me?

Are there any other advantages the Limited has? I know it’s laci g lights, fenders and a rack as negatives.

It has better acceleration and better climbing ability essentially. It's noticeable, but unless you are super concerned about having the most power either will work fine. The 700 Series comes with lights, fenders, rack which is awesome. The LMTd is a newer design, so a little more sleek and more powerful. Both bikes will reach a top speed of 28mph, just on the LMT'd you might reach it a little sooner/easier.
