Another reason that I wanted to join the forum was to hopefully find a way to communicate with Voilamart . Which I will hereafter refer to as VM . On line is not functional . You click on contact us , fill out the form , send it on it's way ,and then receive a notice that they cannot receive this message at this time , try again later . There is no link to the supposed live chat . But finally I was able to get through using the Pay Pal complaint format. About three years ago I bought the hub motor kit , 48 volt 26 inch wheel , with all the accompanying components. No complaints here . The hub motor has been bullet proof . I am however on my third controller . Two VM one Ebay special . The last VM unit , out of nowhere started turning the rear wheel in reverse . So I decided to replace it . When I got to the webpage I found that hey had a new offering . New to me anyway . I had been using the 48 volt , 35 amp , 1500 watt controller . Now they were offering a 48- 72 volt , 45 amp , 2000 watt controller . So I bought one . When I got it ,I found that they were not using the same throttle connecting plug . Which was why I wanted to contact them . Turns out that they sent the wrong controller . I ordered the non lcd unit , they sent the lcd controller . And so the difference in connector plug . Mystery solved . Through Pay Pal connections they agreed to send the proper unit , and don't bother returning the lcd unit . I have not received notice that it has been shipped , which they usually do . Once I get the proper controller , I will be happy to pass along the lcd unit to someone at a proper discount . You do get what you pay for , but all in all ,for the price of they're products I will not complain too much . Just a little . It can be frustrating dealing with the way that they present things on they're web page , but I chalk that up to English being a second language for them . Trouble in translation . Hell I have trouble with the English language . So , no need with help contacting them . It seem to take so much talk to convey a simple message. If you have gotten this far ,thanks for your patience .
