I ordered an Orbea Urrun 40 from a website, set it up and charged the battery, when I switched on the assist while pedaling, the motor made a scraping sound and there was little or no assist even on “boost”. After struggling for a few kms the motor stopped and the screen went blank. I recharged the battery and tried again, but the same thing happened. The assist seemed to work in the walk mode. A computer diagnostic of the shimano system showed a faulty connection. I am now negotiating with the website to return the bike. Anyone else had a similar problem?
