Hey All :

Just got a brand new Sturmey Archer 5 Speed hub, complete with rim, ready to install onto the eBike.
Shifter cable length from the ferule to the nut is the 100mm as specified and the yellow markers adjusted to perfection.
But, the dang thing "clunks" once in a while when pedaling. It shifts very easy upward right up into 5th, but, then is extremely hard going the other way, especially from 4th to 3rd to 2nd to 1st.
Any ideas ?

Unsure what this has to do with Biktrix (the brand forum this post is in), but you might have better luck posting in one of the maintenance sections like: Maintenance and Repairs and putting 'Sturmey Archer Hub' in the title so more people that can help will see what the question's about etc..

Check if the yellow line on the hub is aligned perfectly.

Use highly polished cable with gun oil in new premium housing. Coast for a second whilst shifting.
