I have been recovering from a back operation and not charged the brand new battery for 2 years.
Do I have to remove the individual batteries and charge them individually?
What can I do?

Welcome to the forum and I'm glad you're on the mend from your operation!
You would get better answers if you post your bike make & battery manufacturer.
Also post pictures if you can.

The individual cells are welded together... so it's not as easy as it sounds.
If the individual cells have not dropped below 2.5v, you may be able to recover the pack but this requires a certain level of expertise and special charging equipment as you will need to bypass the BMS.
And then there is no guarantee that there is no permanent damage to the cells.
Hard to give advice here as the quality of the cells and specific chemistry play a part as well.
Glad you're ready to roll again... but it may be better to just replace the battery and start worry free.
Good luck.
