ElectroBike Light Review

For folks who like a simple, clean, minimalist setup, the Light is a lightweight city bike; responsive- just jump on and go! With a rear Sturmey Archer kick shifter (just pedal backwards to shift) and a small 250 watt front hub motor there's no console or selection of pedal assist levels; just an automatic engagement of the pedal assist. Watch out for the full twist grip throttle though; it's not a handlebar grip! :D

http://electricbikereview.com/electro... The ElectroBike Light is a minimalist city bike with two gears, uses a Sturmey Archer Kick Back internal hub in the rear, chain stays tight and the Aluminum frame feels stiff and tuff. Efficient and light weight 250 watt internally geared hub motor in the front wheel, standard 36 volt 8.8 amp hour battery with integrated controller. Steel fork and wider tires dampen some vibration but the flat bars create a more active, forward body position. No pedal assist adjustment (always on), throttle override with throttle on/off switch, no LCD display up front, no bottle cage mount or rack bosses at the back, four colors, one frame size.
