Babymaker questions

For anyone who owns a Babymaker Pro e-bike, I have a couple of questions and would appreciate general input on this product.
Since it only is a single speed bike, what speed would it be in relation to a 8-10 speed bike. Also, does the torque sensor and motor combination provide smooth power when pedaling or does the motor shut down or power up inconsistently?
Any other information about this bike would be appreciated.

The Babymaker Pro with the belt drive has a gearing of 62 T (front) and 22T (rear) or 2.82 gear ratio with 27 inch wheels. This ratio is considered about medium-high gear ratio on a regular bike. This ratio is typically good for flat or slight downhill roads on a non-battery powered bike. The electric power is activated when the sensor detect rotation of the pedals. The amount of power is related to the power level selected on the control. At 20 mph and above, the motor isn't powered anymore, however, you can't detect when this happens. When one stops and start pedaling, you can detect the power coming on and off especially at low speed. The bike in general operates smoothly. The single speed issue is that on very steep hills the motor may stall because of being overtorqued, and on downhills, you may not be able to pedal at the high cadence level.
