No ebike is perfect, this is a thread dedicated to sharing known issues or problems with electric bikes from Pure Cycles as well as any help and solutions you know of. Sometimes that means a DIY fix and other times it can mean a recall, software update or part replacement by a dealer.

In my opinion the brakes are not fit for purpose… I have had three complete failures, and constantly had to check/ adjust…
Had two incidents where coming downhill to a T junction was terrifying, have steered off the road twice to avoid serious accidents.
Had experienced bruising and fractures.
Won’t be getting back on mine
