2020 Surface 604 bikes come with 25A 12MOSFET controller and still only 500W?

How is this possible?

They say their bikes are 500W and 750W peak.

48V x 25A = 1200W

at full charge,

56.4V x 25A = 1365W peak

Are they under-claiming their bikes' power?

I would like to know this too. Seems not much has changed on 2022. Still 500w. Are there good upgrades for this?
