Looks like Riese and Müller put it all together with the 2019 Homage! IGH with belt drive, updated lighting and integrated battery.

What are you seeing about this? Can't find anything on line about it.

I would love to have a belt drive with my rohloff. I already improved the lighting with a Nip 800. I do prefer the existing battery as it is interchangeable with my other bikes making a second battery in a trunk bag possible. The new, longer, tube batteries are not so easy to stow and carry.

More than anything, it would be great to add on the Rohloff E-14 shifter

It was previewed on the Eurobike YouTube a week ago, it’s shown about half way into the video. According to the presenter it also has a second battery option that must be mounted on the rear rack, for I can’t imagine where else it could be placed.

Looks like the Nevo was also updated. Checkout the front rack.

This is the like to the Eurobike press conference
The Homage's two minutes on stage are from approximately 33:40 to 35:40.

The ABS controller can be seen just below the handlebars.

The 2017 Homage wins gold award at Eurobike.

“Homage by Riese & Müller
The Homage is already a classic in the range of the e-bike specialist Riese & Müller, which in the new model year is now leading the way in safety technology with an ABS system from Bosch.
Statement by the EUROBIKE Award judges: “ The special feature of the full-suspension Homage is the ABS system, which gives inexperienced and elderly riders in particular a feeling of extra confidence and safety. This additional safety will no doubt encourage new riders to take up cycling. We also like the integrated design and the automatic transmission of this comfortable city bike. ”

Looks like a lot of upgrades for both the Homage and Nevo. They redesigned the Homage frame to accept Gates belt and on both models the Rohloff E-14 with belt drive, Cobi display with joystick, Bosch ABS brakes. The new Bosch CX will have an added incline sensor which would engage the walk mode on steep grades in the sport(emtb) mode.

Electric Bikes Sales (UK) has an overview of new R&M models: Electric Bike Sales .

It is nteresting to note that the orange porteur rack on the new Multicharger is attached to the water bottle bosses that are similarly positioned to the Fabric water bottle stubs on the Delite (not so on the Nevo which is also available with a front rack).

Notice that the Delite Rohloff GX comes with a Gates Carbon Drive... how many people, R&M included, claimed that the Delite was incompatible with Gates Carbon Drive? I've lost count. People on forums, even. So apart from that weird appendage sticking out of the snubber wheel, there's nothing unexpected here. ABS is nice (you can see it on the orange Delite in the rear), but we have lost the Supernova M99 Pro, the best light in the world. I'm sure you can pay for an upgrade, but, seriously...

Can someone tell me what this is for? Looks like a snubber wheel on a snubber wheel. Weird.

Looks like a belt tensioner/guide to keep the belt from rubbing on the swing arm.

This bike has a completely redesigned swing arm and there are new offset cogs making this possible.

Chris, I have a 2018 Homage HS Rohloff with Fox suspension. Converting it to Gates belt drive would really complete the package. Do you know if would be possible to get the needed parts from R&M so an authorized dealer could retrofit an homage with the new swing arm and roller? At this point I am on the fence about ever adding an E-14 (there are pros and cons) but going Gates on my homage would be an unmitigated plus.

@Alaskan at this moment it’s not an option to retrofit. I would give it a little bit of time to see if this is a possibility. I know the demand is there, but we can’t request these sorts of things yet and I’m not sure if they would technically allow it. They might need to do some testing first which I’m not sure will happen for a while since there R&D team is pretty busy with the new model year at the moment.
