No ebike is perfect, this is a thread dedicated to sharing known issues or problems with electric motor kits from Golden Motor as well as any help and solutions you know of. Sometimes that means a DIY fix and other times it can mean a recall, software update or part replacement by a dealer.

I want to electrify my Kona Ute and being in Ontario Golden Motor is my top pick (Bionx being in receivership). But I'd love to talk to somebody first about their experience converting a longtail. Even better if I could try out a Golden Motor conversion locally.
