No ebike is perfect, this is a thread dedicated to sharing known issues or problems with electric bikes from Yuba as well as any help and solutions you know of. Sometimes that means a DIY fix and other times it can mean a recall, software update or part replacement by a dealer.

None of the above. Yubabikes are great.
Note for 2019 the electric bodaboda has shimano mid drive, instead of that boat anchor when unpowered bosch they had in 2017. Shimano you don't have to drag the motor with your feet when extending your range unpowered.
Well, I don't like the OEM Yuba seat. I am not female. I think a brooks seat with rails may fit. I made a gadget to convert two 5/16" rods through the yuba clamp to hold a 9/16" post for a nice used messinger seat I had. Messinger seat came with a throw away 27" ten speed bike for $15. My gadget allows me to slide the seat forwards or backwards 5 1/2".
