No ebike is perfect, this is a thread dedicated to sharing known issues or problems with electric bikes from Focus as well as any help and solutions you know of. Sometimes that means a DIY fix and other times it can mean a recall, software update or part replacement by a dealer.

I have the Focus Aventura with an Impulse 2.0 motor. It was manufactured in 2015. After about 11oo miles, the motor started to creak and crackle while cranking. I was surprised and impressed that they had a two year warranty and my LBS replaced the motor for free.

I have a Bold2. The seat post bolt is alloy. I broke it the first time I adjusted it. I replaced it with a steel one.

i've got a Focus paralane 2 V9.6 after 8 month the battery locker system is broken i hope this plastic part will be taken under warranty
