No ebike is perfect, this is a thread dedicated to sharing known issues or problems with electric bikes from EG as well as any help and solutions you know of. Sometimes that means a DIY fix and other times it can mean a recall, software update or part replacement by a dealer.

I few problems I had with my ganiva 500. the front disc caliper had too tall of a spacer so only part of the pad was hitting the disc. the dealer called the company to tell them about it. the shifting cable has way too much bend in it going through the motor housing causing sloppy shifting. my rear wheel after 300 miles about 1/2 the spockes were so loose I could tighten them by hand. the shop fixed it but another 300 miles I ahd 3 broken spokes. this seems isolated as they never replaced any spokes on the eg bikes .I bought an ew hand build rear week with better thinner spokes I had them re use the hub.
