13 months since I added a 2nd battery with a battery balancer. - Works flawlessly.

I added a second battery 13 months ago using this battery balancer from Amazon. I'm using two 48V 17.5Ah batterys for a total of 35Ah's.
It has worked flawlessly.

Looks similar to the one I bought from Amazon:

It started smoking and melted after few uses. Luckily, I caught it before it burst into flames! I returned what was left of it to Amazon.
