    Allant+ 7s charger

I saw someone else write about this about a year ago. Wasn't sure whether to reply on an old thread or start a new one as wasn't sure how it ended? Waiting to hear back from my local trek shop to see what say but sounds like Twitter customer support thinks should be able to get the one...

    Allant+ 7s charger

Hi all, I finally got 2 Allant+ 7s for my wife and I and went to charge them and realised they had given us the compact charger 2A instead of the standard 4A charger. I asked my local Trek shop and they seemed to think this was normal and haven't seen a standard charger for a while and the...

Advice for someone who is bad at hills and has limited servicing options - budget under $4k

Thanks for the encouragement! This has been a big problem for me too. Had bad back pain. Dr put me on nerve pain tablets and then I put on 40lbs in a couple of months from the tablets amd stopping doing pretty much everything. Then later on it turned out I didn't even need those tablets 🙄...

Advice for someone who is bad at hills and has limited servicing options - budget under $4k

I was wondering if I get it that later it's worth upgrading the gearing and chainring to similar to the 9.9? I jst like the option of the front suspension on the 7. Ok really need to go test it this week!

Advice for someone who is bad at hills and has limited servicing options - budget under $4k

So I went into Trek again today and the staff there were advising me to get the Allant+ instead of a powerfly for the type of riding I would be doing around there. They have a 7s in stock in my size so will take it out for a test ride next week. Just looking into the difference between the 7 and...

Advice for someone who is bad at hills and has limited servicing options - budget under $4k

ah ok - will take a look into that! I've not really ridden bikes for about 20 years until last week and it was quite depressing how unfit I have become. I used to be able to most hills fine back then but now after injuries and my fitness has gone (for now) i'm seriously struggling and it's just...

That price is fine - looks a nice bike. I'm wondering if it has enough nm to get me up the hill as I'm a bit heavy and my fitness and skill is not enough 😬 But the E2 is definitely an option.

Sorry to hear that but glad you're getting up those hills now! How was the Powerfly 4 going up hills - did you still struggle a lot? The Ride1Up looks great - but the local bike shops won't fix it if it breaks so I would have to maybe rent a van or something to travel an hour or two to the next...

Advice for someone who is bad at hills and has limited servicing options - budget under $4k

Hi, I know I can do that - but what happens when there is a battery or motor problem and my local bike shops can't fix it? If bike barn will fix it then fine but if not then I'm a bit worried what happens then? Doesn't seem anywhere local to get them fixed? I've contacted them to ask about this...

Advice for someone who is bad at hills and has limited servicing options - budget under $4k

Hi All, I have been reading through the forums but still not 100% sure what to do. I'm over 40 and just getting back into biking with some health issues. I rented out a Fuji absolute 1.7 from a local shop for a week and was absolutely useless at going up hills. I could only make mild hills -...
