Just bought an Ultimate C8 HMB

Nice, good to see other owners happy with the bike as well and good to see a rack to that fits perfectly. Do you remove the batteries while driving? I can't help but think of a "Final Destination" type scene for a trailing driver if they ever popped loose and fell off. Ah, those were fun movies...

Sorry about the snow, bros. I did 12 miles this weekend and stayed in ECO to try to wear myself out. I think it worked. On most inclines I was able to stay in 3rd gear, but the steepest had me going down to 1st gear as I got tired of being out of the saddle. I also noticed what appears to be...

Problems for ebikes looming on the horizon

Problems looming for Rad, yes. They likely won't survive this. That's probably the goal of the lawsuit, from one perspective. Make an example out of the company and the industry will react accordingly (those user manuals are now clear as day about age of rider). Between the brakes, the cam...

At 6'2" you may wanna check out the larger frame size, but yeah the Active Line Plus motor is more than enough for flat trails. Very little assist is necessary, IMO. I feel I didn't need much on inclines either but then again I'm middle-aged and used to be very athletic when I was younger. Take...

I'll have to dig deeper into the comparison. Sounds like a wash either way / they're both good.

It's manufactured consent & consensus. Unless you too have a mass media machine at your disposal... Edit: and that's why some were big mad at the Twitter purchase. Literally a modern psychological & information warfare weapon that's been somewhat disarmed.

Ok thanks so both Kinekt and RedShift make the 27.2 if I wanted to compare. I should probably start with checking the stock post to see if it has the right spring in it for my weight.

Thanks - that C380 blue looks awesome. Is the Kinect available for our seat post sizes or is it just that you already had a version that was fitted for the Como and wouldn't fit the C380? I think I'm just gonna go ahead and get one of the posts they look real nice.

Lmao from the OP's article. Average Californian throttle enjoyer. It's exactly as my mind pictured it. Amazing.

I took the inclusion of a throttle on a given ebike as a way to solve the situation where a rider has stopped in a high gear but still needs to get going despite the extra weight of the vehicle. IGH is another solution to this problem. Do people really ride around on throttle only?

Just bought an Ultimate C8 HMB

Greetings, New member / picked up an Ultimate C8 recently. Thanks for the info shared from others in this sub-forum. Very helpful. Here's some pics and notes to share so far: Primary use case is for becoming active again, getting exercise, and to drop some weight. So far I've been toggling...
