How to fill battery bolt holes on Specialized Creo after removing battery?

I did it with my Turbo Vado SL 5.0. When reinstalling battery turn bike over on ground (rather than using bike stand) so that gravity can help get the battery back in. It was a little tight on my bike. If you can fly Alaska Air, no charge for bike even if over size and weight.

in case anyone was waiting for e-bike sensor integration on k2 hammerhead …

I am traveling by air with my Vado SL 5 and removed the main battery and brought just the range extender due to airline L-Ion size requirements. I have the K2 and with just the range extender (no main battery) it does not show the battery percentage (it shows 0% even though the specialized...

Vado 4.0 SL EQ - is mine a lemon?

The SL series is best suited for riders that have been riding traditional road bikes. They are meant to be primarily powered more by the rider than by the motor. They have a wider range of gears allowing less boost to be used when riding hills. Not to say you have to be that type of rider, but...

    Creo Carbon EVO Issue

Had the same issue on my Vado SL 5.0. I had put it on the bike stand and noticed I could move the chain ring a little bit laterally and the noise it made when I moved it sounded like what it did when riding. I was lucky to self diagnose it. It is odd that that turned out to be your issue as they...

Turbo Vado SL 5.0 battery removal for air travel

I had seen that method (just removing the chain ring) but wasn't sure it was any faster as it seemed when I tried the first bolt, once loosened there seemed to be a "nut" on the inside of the chain ring that was spinning and would need to be secured to loosen the bolts. May try that next time...

Turbo Vado SL 5.0 battery removal for air travel

I am going to be flying to the Palm Desert area and wanted to take the above bike with me. Alaska Air will allow ebikes to be checked baggage as long as the battery is removed. They also allow batteries up to 160WH as carry on, which is what the extender rating is. I found a Dalkine Bike Roller...

Anyone using continental gp5000 tr tubeless on a creo?

I have them on my regular road bike. Great tubeless, can be very hard to mount. I have been running tubeless for 14 years and these were by far the hardest to get on the rims. I found this tool, and it made the mounting fairly routine. Great for any tire mounting as there is no part of the tool...

    Trim bars on Vado SL

I thought about cutting mine and did some research on this and other forums. Some suggested the side bars have you a nice triangular set of contact points that were comfortable. I found suggestions to try the sqlabs inner barends and I added those. I also added ergon gp3 grips. For me it gives...
