New Blix Aveny owner - loving things so far

Absolutely love them! My wife's Blix is getting 60 miles per charge, pedal assist and certainly not flat terrain. My Magnum is more like 42 miles on full charge (yeah I could lose a few pounds ;) )

    Helmet Recommendation

Our experience with the R2 helmets connections has been very good. easy button press on helmets to connect (no phone or bluetooth connection required) If we get too far apart the connection temporarily drops but automagically reconnects when we get closer (works very well) when we do pair (bt)...

    Helmet Recommendation

We have Sena R2's and love the communication feature, works great for us. The rear lights on the helmet don't do much. As far as safety, I believe the biggest issue is do you wear your helmet correctly and are you fairly observant of your surroundings. In fact the communication feature of our...

Does volts / mile really indicate anything?

Thanks to all. I believe Robertson summed this up the best with his comment: "...best real-time, glance down at the handlebars and know something method available..."

Does volts / mile really indicate anything?

Thanks 6zsfhdb, that was exactly the guidance I was looking for. Too many variables to try for a precise indication of mileage remaining at a certain battery voltage left, but figured the numbers would provide some guidance on the mileage remaining.

Does volts / mile really indicate anything?

I am talking about is how to use the information that my bike display gives me during my ride. Specifically my display show voltage remaining. So my comment was about using that information to determine mileage remaining. Thought that was pretty clear

I'm a newbie who therefore have "miles per charge" interest. Of course there are variables; bike weight, rider weight, amount of pedal assist, terrain, etc. For sake of discussion, I have been holding those variables fairly constant and monitoring my mileage and charge depletion (my display...

New to EBR, 2 thumbs up for Sena R2 Helmets

Ok CN, here are some pics...mine charging and wife's on her noggin. Sound quality is excellent for person to person live chatting (no phone required). I'm not into listening to music or podcasts when riding. If music or podcast is your thing then from what I read you'll get better music quality...

New to EBR, 2 thumbs up for Sena R2 Helmets

Just bought new helmets for my wife and I to go with our new eBikes. Key feature desired is communication between us two riders. I am a research nut and quickly found Sena was one of the main providers of these types of helmets (definitely a few others that also looked interesting). We ended up...

    New Magnum Summit member

My wife and I are now in the e bike game and loving things so far. Two weeks and about 100 miles so far. She has the Blix Aveny and I have the Magnum Summit. My Magnum is a big boy 29 frame. I am 6' 2'' about 215 (career high) and I love this bike. So far a full charge gets me about 40 miles...

New Blix Aveny owner - loving things so far

My wife and I are now in the e bike game and loving things so far. Two weeks and about 100 miles so far. She has the Blix Aveny and I have the Magnum Summit. We were a little concerned about the lack of front suspension and no seat post suspension on the Aveny, but figure those could be easily...
