    The e-bike under exercising myth.

These are electric ebikes...of course they are less effort if thats your choice. That's the point of them. But they are great exercise if you are looking for that too.

    The e-bike under exercising myth.

Ebikes allow for less recovery time meaning I can ride more consecutive days. If I'm sore after one ride I can still get back out there using more power the next day. It means I'm still getting exercise regardless of the day before. Ebikes makes riders more adventurous...traveling further than...

    The e-bike under exercising myth.

It's the simple mindedness and judgments that is so irritating! Hey good for you and don't listen to anyone but your own fun. By keeping the fun level high makes you like exercising and little do these naysayers know but they are tying to take the fun out of it for you...which is NOT going to...

    General Creo questions

Not jealous of the new seat at all. My butt isn't sore with my Sworks with mirror seat and I like the shorter nosed seats...all good! 👍

Creo Light Splitter Upgrade for Front Light

No ship to USA though 🙁

Creo Light Splitter Upgrade for Front Light

Yeah I was thinking along those lines too during this discussion. No driver ever flashed their lights at me. That would have an impact on my thinking if that happened a few times. Interesting story though! 😳😄

Creo Light Splitter Upgrade for Front Light

Point taken there. But when I run the highest setting it's in remote locations with very few cars. Plus the light can't take it for that long in the summer...it overheats and kicks down on its own. Plus my light is angled downward on the road...

Creo Light Splitter Upgrade for Front Light

I'm on the far side of the road Stefan...and going with the flow of traffic. I never seen a car crash because of my light. And road conditions are hazardous. Everything from potholes to glass to screws...and worse. With powered bikes we are going faster...we need more time to react. We need to...

Creo Light Splitter Upgrade for Front Light

I ride with 2 serfas 1600 lumen lights on my Creo exp. One mounted on the head tube as backup for when the other runs out of power. I do most my rides in the summer at night in Arizona. Settings on the light(s) are 400/800/1200/1600. I run on 800 most the time under streets lights but if I ramp...

How Much Cardio Can You Get From Electric Bikes?

Stefan we are pretty close...I went from 230 to my crazy insane weight of 173 back to 190 and have been stable since. With my low weight I wasn't eating much...was in rough times. Plus you have to remember muscle weighs more than fat! 😉

Vado 5.0 SL: Decreased battery range after motor replacement

I believe that. Plus I think they are the 'cool brand' I like the look of their bikes and accessories. And their innovations I'm on board with. I really like future shock 2.0 on my Creo...so fast and easy to use..and it works.

Vado 5.0 SL: Decreased battery range after motor replacement

Whatever works. My first bike on my journey to weight loss was a $300 bike from Walmart...but it worked! 😝

Vado 5.0 SL: Decreased battery range after motor replacement

Stefan that's really fantastic...wow! Beautiful and you are riding in less than optimal conditions...very challenging indeed. But I bet very satisfying as well. Honestly though looking at that I think the Levo would your true calling for biking in that. But don't know how a Pannier would be on...

Vado 5.0 SL: Decreased battery range after motor replacement

Yeah its kinda driving her crazy how good my Creo is with preserving battery. But you know...there are numerous factors for that. I'm in better shape...my bike is lighter and newer. But hey I've been riding eight years and she's been riding one year. Gotta pay your dues!

Vado 5.0 SL: Decreased battery range after motor replacement

It's just weird...last year we did an 86 mile ride (138km) and sometimes she rode with no power to conserve her battery. And I had no power because I didn't have my Creo then (Roubaix)...but now we have these issues! Having a motor and battery is more things to go wrong...but its so much FUN...

Vado 5.0 SL: Decreased battery range after motor replacement

Her Como was already Class 1. It's good to know about the hills though. Frankly I'm on board with a more powerful motor and already said as much. Yeah I see your logic totally. It's all about range to her though...and wanting to use more power. All that requires more battery! Normally I would...

Vado 5.0 SL: Decreased battery range after motor replacement

Will have to look into that. Just checked it out at the play store. It looks good. But it's Kims bike and she just learned mission control 😄 BTW I just gave her the news and she is ticked off...She wants Specialized to make things like before. I'm like maybe they don't even make your old motor...

Vado 5.0 SL: Decreased battery range after motor replacement

So to add even more...Ive been on the Specialized website for the Como's. Como 3.0 has 1.2 E street tuned motor Como 4.0 has 1.2 street tuned motor Como 5.0 has 1.3 trail tuned motor So pretty certain that as a replacement motor we got the 1.2 or the 1.3 motor. I think Kim mentioned a...

Vado 5.0 SL: Decreased battery range after motor replacement

Hey Stefan, Ok you got me thinking again. I have to admit I was a bit conflicted tonight. I had doubts and playing both sides meaning sometimes it seemed bad and other times not so much. I even questioned Kim like "You have 39% left and we traveled 28 miles...that doesn't seem bad to me". But...

Vado 5.0 SL: Decreased battery range after motor replacement

So we took a ride tonight. I changed the values on mission control. The one she used was eco mode 35/35. Before with factory setting we were running was 35/100...Anyway 22% left for a ride that was 30 miles. Before the motor was replaced she would have 45% left at least...60% when the bike was...
