UPDATE: I received confirmation from DT that these hubs are indeed NOT convertible.

I've reconfigured my setup so the charging block is on concrete now, and there's a fan close by to help it stay cool. Thanks for all of the tips everyone, it's good to know others have noticed the same thing. 👍

It worked itself out. The charger was overheating and just needed to cool down. It was rather warm today so the ambient temperature in my garage was a contributing factor. I just charged it up again now and things are back to normal.

Uh, I was charging my Vado SL 4.0 for only the 3rd time today off the normal 110v outlet in my garage and received a charging error (blinking red). The charger itself was quite hot, so I immediately unplugged it and powered down. The manual says to 'discontinue motor support' and see the dealer...

Ah, I'm just now seeing the lower mounts are designed for quick release bikes... so that one doesn't work for me. Thanks for responding though!

Which rack did you choose? This setup looks the most appropriate for the Vado SL sans fenders.

I just received my Vado SL 4.0 and am absolutely thrilled, but the lack of seat stay mounts are my only complaint. What kind of commuter doesn't have rear rack mounts?!

I see you already have the range extender, which has been sold out here in Southern California for some time now. May I ask if you went with the recommended length of 220mm for the cable or did you get the 'MTB' version which is shorter?
