I am having the same problem. It looks like the throttle is not working. If I pull all the way down and release it. It fixes the problem for awhile.

I purchased and received my new Gemini x dual battery ebike. I plan on taking it for a spin tomorrow. My question is do I need to have both batteries on if I take a short trip? Also is there an advantage or disadvantage to using only one battery? Cheers
