2019 Vado 3.0 did 10k miles until the motor mount broke. Battery pack was charged 311 times and remaining battery life was 90%. Thus far, replacement 2021 Vado 3.0 covered about 700miles, I'm on 26th charge now, battery pack life 100%.

That's pretty much what the chap at the bike shop said- his advice was to get enough spares to last for a year or so. He had to improvise and add few extra missing links, as chains they have in stock aren't long enough...

As Stefan said below- chain needs to be replaced when it is worn to say 0.5%. I'm not there yet but I can already feel the gears slipping- it only took 600+ miles, one month of commuting... At least where you are you shouldn't have a problem obtaining the chain...

Mine didn't require any sanding down, perhaps manufacturing process and quality control has been improved... It is fairly smooth out of the box. As Stefan said already- this will not bend the rules of physics but it enables the bike to do what it was designed to do, go about 20- 25mph smoothly...
