Evan, I ended up getting 2 Jupiter XP bikes for my 8 & 10 year old girls and they’re perfect! Even though they’re not fat tires, they’re able to bike along the beach on the packed sand. Highly recommend them!

I'm still on the lookout for a smaller, reliable bike for my 10 year old that's 54 inches tall to keep up with us. Any other suggestions or recommendations?

I need something with fat tires for the beach. Also I want pedals and not just a scooter.

I agree that there are laws/regulations and then there is my choice/responsibility as a parent, which is not the question I'm asking or debating. I appreciate everyone's recommendations for what options might be suitable for my daughter. I'll keep hunting :)

I'm looking for a smaller fat tire ebike that would accommodate her 52" height. Any other suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Mine is short too for her age - are you able to limit the throttle on it? Also, it's not a fat tire, but have you tried it on the beach/sand?

Tom, Were you ever able to find a suitable ebike for your older child? I'm also interested in any attachments to the Lectric XP that would let me carry my 8 and 10 year old kids.
